Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Self-Discovery Park and the STAR Personality Test (the "Service"). By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Service

The Service is an online, game-based self-discovery experience. It presents a series of multiple-choice questions and produces a personality profile based on the STAR model, together with written descriptions and, if purchased, an AI-generated personalised report.

2. Not professional advice

The Service is provided for personal insight and entertainment purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or career advice, and it is not a diagnostic tool. Do not rely on it as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Personality descriptions are behavioural tendencies, not fixed or predictive facts.

3. Accounts

You may use the core test without an account. To save your results, unlock paid content, or view your history, you must sign in with an email address. You are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure. We may suspend accounts used for abuse or unlawful activity.

4. Free and paid content

• Free: the full test experience and a short summary of your primary personality type.
• Scorecard unlock (US$1): the three-dimension score matrix and the full descriptions of the four STAR personality types.
• Dr. Edwin’s report (US$5): an AI-generated personalised report prepared for you after payment. This tier also includes everything in the Scorecard unlock tier.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for the transaction. Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency and may include applicable taxes. We do not receive or store your card details.

Paid content is delivered digitally and is unlocked on your account once payment is confirmed.

6. Right of withdrawal

Where consumer law grants you a right of withdrawal for digital content (for example in the European Union and the United Kingdom), you acknowledge and agree that by confirming your purchase you request immediate delivery of the digital content and you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. 7. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass payment to access paid content.
• Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content.
• Do not interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its assessment content, text, graphics, and generated reports are protected by intellectual property laws. Your report is provided for your personal, non-commercial use.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
